Small patterns with a specific job
An encoder disc provides a position reference. A reticle puts a scale or aiming mark in the field of view. A calibration target helps check an imaging system. We manufacture the glass patterns behind these functions, with geometry and optical contrast suited to the instrument.
Glass, coatings and photolithography
Our work spans glass preparation, thin-film coating, laser direct writing and pattern inspection. We process fused silica and soda-lime glass, and also work with selected films and metals. Customers can order a polished substrate, a coated blank or a finished patterned component, depending on which steps they carry out themselves.
Prototypes and production orders
Some projects begin with one component for a new instrument; others call for a steady supply of an existing design. We support both. During development, we discuss how the pattern will be read, mounted and inspected. For repeat orders, the approved sample and drawing revision provide the reference for production.
The manufacturing behind the pattern
Glass preparation, coating and patterning take place here. Laser direct writing creates the fine features; inspection checks the finished pattern before it leaves production.
