OEM Patterned Glass Production

Connect drawings, sample approval and repeat production in one controlled project brief.

First-article approval

Use an initial sample to check fit, pattern orientation, optical contrast and the dimensions that affect function. Record the approved drawing revision and the acceptance results before carrying the configuration into repeat production.

Repeat production and revision control

Keep substrate grade, coating construction, pattern data and inspection criteria connected to the part revision. A revised line width, substrate thickness or reading side can change the manufacturing route and should be reviewed as a controlled change.

Handling and packaging

Specify the protected surface, separation between parts, orientation marks and package identification. Fragile edges, exposed chromium patterns and clean optical areas need protection suited to the next assembly or exposure step.

Lot documentation

Connect the delivered quantity and part revision with the agreed inspection record. Material documents, dimensional results, defect maps or sample images can be defined as specific deliverables; their scope should match the checks used to release the lot.

Planning your project

OEM patterned-glass manufacturing connects sample approval, artwork control, processing and repeat delivery.

Before volume production, agree the sample, drawing revision and inspection items used to identify repeat orders.

How do I prevent an old artwork revision being used on a repeat order?

State part number, drawing revision and changes together on the inquiry and order. Production and inspection records should reference that same revision.
